Hotel services are subject to obligatory certification under the provisions of:
- Law of Ukraine On Tourism -324/95-ВР of 15 May 1995 with alterations -1282-IV of 18 Nov 2003
- Order-28 of The State Consumer Standards of Ukraine of 1 Feb 2005 On Approval of the List of Products Subject to Obligatory Certification in Ukraine registered by the ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 4 May 2005 under -466/10746
Obligatory certification of hotel services (accommodation services) shall be carried out in order to certify that they meet the security and safety requirements stipulated in the 4268:2003 Standard On Tourist Services. Accommodation Facilities. General Requirements.
Compliance audit of services shall be undertaken to certify that they meet the hotel category requirements stipulated in the 4269:2003 Standard Tourist Services. Hotel Classification with awarding a category from one to five stars
