Ukrainian casinos, which were shut down due to decision of previous government in 2009, will work legally now. Special conditions will be determined for starting gambling business in resort destinations of the Crimea and Western Ukraine.
«Special conditions will be determined for starting gambling business in resort destinations of the Crimea and Western Ukraine. According to new law on gambling, opening of casinos will be allowed in three-, four-, five-star hotels in resort cities. In other cities opening of casinos will be allowed only in five-star hotels», – mentioned Boris Kolesnikov.
According to him hotels with the impeccable credit history may apply for government support in obtaining a hotel construction loan in Ukreksimbank and Sberbank.
The law banning gambling in Ukraine went into effect in late June 2009. This law is in force till the new law providing for gambling business in special gambling areas goes into effect.
